Information about the report Diagnoza Młodzieży 2026
“Diagnoza Młodzieży 2026” is one of the most extensive analytical publications prepared in Poland in recent years in the field of social policy and research on the young generation. The report was created at the request of the Polish Society for Social Policy and the Ministry of National Education, and serves as a comprehensive compendium of knowledge about the situation of people aged 15–29. The publication consists of 449 pages and includes more than 100 different charts, numerous data analyses, research commentary, and expert contributions prepared by specialists from various disciplines.
Our task was to design the publication in such a way that the large amount of data and analytical content would remain clear, structured, and visually engaging for the reader. In the first stage of the process, we developed the structural framework of the report – a system of grid layout, typography, and content hierarchy that allowed us to organize hundreds of pages of material. Particular attention was devoted to data visualization, as the report includes a wide range of chart types: comparative diagrams, line charts, structural charts, and analytical matrices presenting the life trajectories of the young generation.
In total, the publication contains over one hundred charts, all designed within a consistent visual system. A key aspect of the project was developing a coherent color palette that would enable readers to quickly distinguish between different categories of data while maintaining a calm, analytical aesthetic. The palette is dominated by shades of navy blue, turquoise, and cool blues, complemented by orange and red accents used to highlight key indicators and warning trends.
An important element of the design was also the photographic layer. The report uses stock photography depicting young people in various contexts of everyday life – in peer relationships, school environments, urban spaces, work settings, and social activities. To maintain visual consistency throughout the publication, all photographs were processed with a unified visual treatment. We created a dedicated color filter that gives the images a subtle cool tone based on navy, graphite, and soft blue hues. This approach ensures that the photographs harmonize with the charts and infographic elements, creating a cohesive and recognizable visual identity for the entire report.
Another key aspect of the project was balancing analytical content with visual elements. Given the scale of the report, readability was essential. We implemented generous margins, clear section divisions, and distinctive highlights for quotations, key findings, and statistical data. As a result, the final publication not only presents a substantial body of knowledge but also guides the reader through complex issues in a structured and accessible way.
“Youth Diagnosis 2026” required combining design, analytical, and editorial competencies. The final report is not only a research document but also an example of how well-designed visual communication can significantly improve the clarity and impact of complex social data.
