This is how we worked on the report

Design work on the report “Business Services Sector in Warsaw 2026”, prepared for ABSL and the City of Warsaw, required much more than simply creating an attractive publication layout. The key objective was to develop a report that would be visually appealing, consistent with the city’s visual identity, and fully digitally accessible.

The project was designed using typefaces created specifically for the City of Warsaw, maintaining proper proportions and a clear typographic hierarchy. Particular attention was paid to appropriate font sizes, the readability of headings and body text, and ensuring sufficient color contrast, so that all elements meet accessibility requirements.

Another significant challenge was the visual layer of the report, including charts and infographics. Instead of relying solely on color, pattern fills and additional graphic markers were used, allowing data to be distinguished even by people with color vision deficiencies. This ensures that the information remains clear regardless of how it is perceived.

The report was also prepared as a fully accessible PDF, compliant with WCAG 2.2 guidelines. This includes:

  • a logical document structure and proper content tagging,

  • a complete descriptive layer,

  • alternative text for photographs,

  • detailed descriptions of infographics and charts, enabling screen reader users to understand the data,

  • correct navigation within the document.

The result is a report that not only presents data in an attractive way but is also accessible to all audiences, regardless of how they access the content.

Can your report look just as good while also being fully compliant with WCAG 2.2?
We show that high-quality design and full accessibility can go hand in hand.
